    Randolph’s council-manager form of government has been in operation since 1969. In 1968, local voters approved the recommendation of a special charter study commission by public. The distinctive feature of this form of government is the strict separation between legislative and administrative functions. As a result, administrative responsibilities are vested in a full-time township manager while the township council is responsible for all legislative matters. Randolph is served by 122 full-time and 49 part-time employees spread over numerous departments, divisions, bureaus and offices. Further, approximately 160 emergency volunteers support the rescue squad and four volunteer fire companies

    This is a historic Christian house of worship was at one time affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and located at the intersection of Sussex Turnpike and Church Road in the Mount Freedom section of Randolph Township. Today it serves ad a house of worship for members on the Korean community. The church building was built in 1868 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. The Church is no longer used as a church.

    The Openaki Road Bridge

    The Openaki Road Bridge in Denville is a one-lane span that crosses the Den Brook at Openaki Lake, at the Randolph border, where the road becomes Casterline Road. The Openaki Road Bridge, a steel stringer structure, was built in 1924 and was rehabilitated in 1992, and repaired last year. The 15.5-foot-wide, 54-footlong bridge carries an average of 4,600 vehicles daily. It is posted to carry 13 tons. The bridge is scheduled to be fully replaced in 2023.

    The Randolph Township Fire Department provides fire suppression, fire code enforcement and public education services to township residents. The department is served by over 125 volunteer firefighters who are accessible by pagers and provide 24-hour fire suppression services from four fire stations strategically located throughout the township. Additionally, the department maintains a bureau of fire prevention which enforces New Jersey’s Uniform Fire Safety Code
